iBeacon and proximity

SJ Technologies is a UK IT agency. iBeacon and proximity work is ranging, region monitoring and the job that follows: a desk alert, a warehouse pick, a visitor arriving. Hardware, batteries, Bluetooth permissions and consent are in the brief. We will not sell a beacon wall as a product. If GPS or a scan is enough, we say so.

• Proximity for a named job, not a beacon for its own sake.
• Hardware, batteries and the floor layout written into the scope.
• Permissions and consent treated as part of the product.
• iOS and Android behaviour named, because they are not the same.
